This was indeed an interesting exercise as it “tangibilize”
the financial viability of the venture.
The exercise was not difficult as I perform these analyses as part of my
job responsibilities. I am always open
to suggestions for improvement.
Leonard, this seems like an interesting idea. I agree that it could work. I know several people in the entertainment industry that support movie making up there. They do complain about the sterile feel of the hotel room and long to get back home. It seems to me that many of the firms doing the hiring have a preferred hotel chain that they book people into now. My comment is how do you influence the movie companies that are putting people up as well as their subcontractors?
